Three Dynamites teams are playing finals across two games this Saturday 12 September at Matthews Netball Centre, and we'd love a big Dynamites crowd on the fence for all of them.
9am, Court 4: the Year 7/8 Dynamites derby
Two of our own Year 7/8 teams go head to head, which means a Dynamites team is guaranteed to win. Come along and cheer for both of them.
3:45pm, Court 18: Year 9 to 12 Team Cyan
Our Team Cyan girls take the court in the afternoon. Pop back after lunch, or make a day of it.
And they're not our only finalists. Two more Dynamites teams are already through to Grand Finals on Saturday 19 September, so keep that day free too.
Players from other teams, siblings, grandparents and friends are all welcome. Finals are more fun with a crowd behind you. Go Dynamites!
Our Winter windup, the Final Whistle Feast, is on Sunday 20 September from 3 to 5pm at Robertson Park Tennis Centre, 176 Fitzgerald Street, North Perth. Every Dynamites team from Year 2 to Year 12 is invited to celebrate the season together.
There'll be a silent disco, face painting, pizza and our team awards for the season, plus a proper thank you to the coaches, team managers and volunteers who made Winter happen.
Everyone coming needs a ticket, parents included, so we know our numbers. Player and sibling tickets are $5, which covers pizza, and parent tickets are free. Please book by Tuesday 15 September, and add any dietary requirements when you book.
Parking around Robertson Park is tight, so allow a little extra time or carpool if you can.

If your team is playing in the PNA Spring competition, the club can lend you a game bag with the essentials for game day: balls, bibs, a timer and a first aid kit.
The hire fee is $110, with $50 refunded when the bag is returned at the end of the season. Team managers, please complete the request form and make your payment by Tuesday 15 September. Our Equipment Coordinator, Kristy Jones, will then be in touch to arrange pick up.
The 2026 Hyundai Community Raffle is one of the simplest ways to support the club. 100% of the proceeds go back to the clubs and associations that sell the tickets, so every ticket bought for Dynamites comes straight back to our players.
First prize is a Hyundai Tucson Elite hybrid, plus a $4,000 bonus for the winner's nominated club. Second prize is 10 VIP seats at a West Coast Fever game, and third prize is a $1,000 Perth Mint gold nugget. There's also a $2,000 bonus for the clubs with the highest online sales, so let's give it a push.

Every Dynamites team this season has run on the time and goodwill of its coach and team manager. Trainings planned after a full day's work, rosters chased, scores and bibs sorted, group chats answered at all hours, and a lot of encouragement from the sideline in the cold and the rain.
On behalf of the whole club, thank you. None of this happens without you, and we are so grateful for everything you have given our players this year.
Families, as the season wraps up, please take a moment to thank your coach and team manager. A message in the group chat, a card signed by the team or a quick word after the last game means a great deal.
We're planning 2027 now, and we want it shaped by our players as well as the adults. If your player is in Year 7 or above, please ask them to complete our short player survey. It only takes a few minutes.
All responses are anonymous and confidential. No names are collected, and coaches and team managers won't see who said what. Honest answers are the most useful ones, and they help us make the club better for every player.
Laura Carter, a Sport Business student at Edith Cowan University, is working with Dynamites on a research project as part of her studies. She's looking at what motivates parents and carers to volunteer at the club, and what gets in the way.
As a volunteer-run club, we rely on the people who coach, manage, umpire, score and pitch in. Laura's findings will help us improve how we invite and support our volunteers, so we'd love as many of you as possible to take part.
The survey is anonymous, takes about 10 minutes and closes on Monday 21 September. It's open to all current members: volunteers, coaches, umpires and parents or guardians of players under 18. It's separate from the player survey above.

Please note the new date. High School Pregrading for 2027 is now on Thursday 15 October at Matthews Netball Centre, 199 Salvado Road, Wembley. This replaces the 27 October date in our August newsletter.
Years 7 and 8: on court 4 to 6:15pm (new players arrive 3:45pm, returning players 4pm)
Years 9 to 12: on court 6 to 8pm (all players arrive 5:45pm)
Pregrading is for every player who will be in Years 7 to 12 in 2027, whether they've played with us for years or never picked up a netball. There's no trial to pass, and coming along doesn't commit anyone to next season or to any fees. It helps us work out how many teams we can field and what coaches we'll need.
Bring a water bottle and wear shorts. Registrations close Friday 9 October, so please register now.
