We are thrilled to announce that in 2026, the City of Vincent awarded Dynamites a grant under the Connected and Healthy Community Grants Program to the “GAME ON. At Robertson Park” event on Sunday 17 May 2026.
This event was a joint community celebration marking the official launch of the newly upgraded courts at Robertson Park. The event incorporated a specialist coaching clinic, and brought together Dynamites Netball Club and fellow Robertson Park tenants to celebrate the completion of Stage 2 of the court renewal project, while supporting the development of current players.
The day welcomed all club members and their families, along with the broader community and neighbouring primary schools, to experience the upgraded facilities.
The event also featured a free Come & Try Netball program with short skill stations, mini games, a parent information hub, and family-friendly elements such as icy poles, pop up photo displays, and coffee and food stalls to enhance the atmosphere.

A Yochiever Voucher might go to a standout player of the match, or it might be handed out by a coach for something that doesn’t always show up on the scoreboard, like great effort at training, real improvement, terrific sportsmanship, or reaching a personal milestone. North Perth Dynamites has been awarded a Game On, Girls grant from the WA Government, and we could not be prouder of what it means for our players and our coaches.
The grant backs two things we care deeply about. First, keeping girls in the game and welcoming new players to it, because you belong on court: fun, friendship, everyone welcome, and it’s good for you. Second, growing our own coaches, with workshops and development designed to bring new accredited coaches through our club.
Across the 2026 and 2027 seasons we’ll run a come-and-try sessions, skill development and coaching workshops, all built to help girls grow their confidence on and off the court. And we’ll be listening to our players, because understanding what they want from netball is how we keep building a club where every girl wants to show up and stay.
