Net Set Go Year 4/5 Competition is designed for Year 4 and Year 5 school-aged players. Year 5 players also have an option to play in the Year 5 (non-modified rules) competition if they don’t want to play in Net Set Go.

When does the Winter season start and end?

Friday 9 May – 29 August 2025

When we do we find out when games will be played?

Perth Netball Association hope to advise the Club by the end of March 2025, the Volunteer Net Set Go Coordinator will then advise parents.

How many players can be in a team?

A minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 12 players are allowed per team . A maximum of 10 players may take the court each game. If the team has more than 10 players the additional players may support from the sidelines but may not play the game even if there is an injury.

Does my child need to come to training?

Yes. Attendance at all training sessions is expected unless the player is unwell. Players must be dressed appropriately for training, no jewellery is to be worn and nails must be cut short. If for some reason the player is unable to attend then they must notify the coach as soon as possible. We will train in rain (the games go on, so the players must get used to playing in the rain). However if it is severe weather or lightening we will cancel training. You will be advised by the team on whatsapp group if training has been cancelled.

Does my child need to play ever game?

Players are expected to attend all games unless unwell. Arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start, ready to take the court (dressed and strapped) for warm-up. Wear the full uniform, remove all jewellry (PNA does not allow taped earrings), and keep nails short .If unable to attend due to holidays or school activities, notify the coach and team manager by the Thursday night prior at least, or preferably a week in advance if possible.

If your team has more than 10 players, you may be rostered off for a game. Attendance is not required, but your support from the sidelines is always appreciated!

Do I need to help out as a parent?

As a Club run by volunteers we would love you to help out in any way. If you would like to contribute then email our secretary secretary@dynamitesnetballclub.com.au

As a minimum you will need to either score/time a game as per a roster made up by the team manager. In addition please bring some fruit and lollies for the players to share at half time. If you are not available on the day of your rostered parent duty it is your responsibility to advise the team manager and swap with another parent at least a week in advance.
