The purpose of the project is:
The purpose of this project is to understand the factors that motivate and discourage parents and carers of Dynamites Netball Club players from volunteering. The findings will help us improve our volunteer processes and increase participation across the club. As a volunteer-run organisation, attracting and retaining volunteers is essential to the club's ongoing sustainability and success.
You were selected as a potential participant:
Participants will include all current members (Volunteers, Coaches, Umpires and Parents/Guardians of players under 18)

As noted above, this is an anonymous survey. Please ensure that you do not write your name, or any other comments that will make you identifiable, in the attached survey.
The information will be used to complete the requirements for the unit noted above, and only the student(s) and the unit coordinator will have access to the information. At the completion of this unit, all data will be destroyed.
Participation in this project is voluntary. If you choose to participate, you are free to withdraw from further participation at any time without giving a reason with no negative consequences. There are no risks associated with this research to participants. Your completion and submission of the survey is deemed to indicate your consent to participate. As such you should read this information letter carefully as it explains fully the intention of this project.
