What a season it has been. As Winter 2026 draws towards its windup, I find myself so proud of what this club has become. Every Saturday at Matthews I get to watch our girls run onto court, back each other, learn something new and have fun doing it. That is the whole point, and this year we have done it better than ever.
We are now a club of more than 200 players across more teams than we have ever fielded, and yet the thing that strikes me most is not the size, it is the feeling. The friendships between the girls, the coaches who give up their time, the parents on the sideline in the cold and rain, the volunteers who quietly make everything run. That is the Dynamites family, and it is something special.
Thank you to everyone who has played a part this season. Whether you have coached, umpired, managed a team, brought the oranges or simply cheered from the fence, you have helped build a club our whole community can be proud of.
Here is to finishing Winter strong, and to everything still to come. Go Dynamites!

Planning for next season starts now! Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for players who are interested in playing with North Perth Dynamites in the Winter 2027 season.
You might be wondering why we are asking families to complete an EOI rather than simply waiting for registrations to open in early December (with the date determined by PNA).
As a growing community club, we need to plan ahead to make sure we have the right number of teams, coaches, volunteers and training opportunities for the season. The EOI process gives us an early indication of how many of our current players are hoping to return, while also helping us understand the level of interest from new players.
For our returning players, submitting an EOI is particularly important. Players who submit an EOI will be prioritised when invitations to register are sent in December. If places remain available after returning players have been invited, registration invitations will then be extended to new players who have submitted an EOI.
An EOI is not a registration and does not guarantee a place at Dynamites. It simply lets us know that your child is interested in playing in 2027 and helps us plan for the season as accurately as possible.
If your child has a friend who may be interested in joining Dynamites in 2027, we’d love for them to submit an EOI too. This helps us understand the level of interest from new players and plan accordingly.
EOIs are now open. We encourage all players interested in playing with Dynamites in Winter 2027 to complete one.

Exciting news, Dynamites family! North Perth Dynamites has been awarded a Game On, Girls grant from the WA Government, and we could not be prouder of what it means for our players and our coaches.
The grant backs two things we care deeply about. First, keeping girls in the game and welcoming new players to it, because you belong on court: fun, friendship, everyone welcome, and it’s good for you. Second, growing our own coaches, with workshops and development designed to bring new accredited coaches through our club.
Across the season we’ll run a come-and-try session, skill development and coaching workshops, all built to help girls grow their confidence on and off the court. And we’ll be listening to our players, because understanding what they want from netball is how we keep building a club where every girl wants to show up and stay.
To the girls already in Dynamites colours, and those thinking about joining us, this one’s for you.

There is a lot happening across the next few months, from the opening of Spring registrations right through to our high school pregrading in October. Registrations, come-and-try sessions, our season windup and pregrading are all coming up, so grab your calendar and read on for the full run-down of what is on and when.
💙 11 August — Spring Registrations Open (Today!)
Spring registrations open today, Tuesday 11 August. One important note for families: our Dynamites Coordinators do not arrange or manage Spring season teams. Spring runs directly through the Perth Netball Association, and PNA team registrations also open on 11 August. They book out most years, so get in early. More information is on the PNA website. If you’re looking for players or a team to join for Spring, our Facebook page is a great place to connect with other Dynamites families.

💜 15 August — PNA Goal Shooting Competition (Years 5 & 6)
The Perth Netball Association is running its Goal Shooting Competition on 15 August for Year 5 and 6 players only. If your Year 5 or 6 daughter loves putting up goals, this one is for her. Look out on the PNA Facebook page for entry details and times.
💙 17 August — Coaching Clinic
Ever thought about coaching, or want to sharpen the skills you already have? Our coaching clinic on 17 August is for anyone keen to start coaching or take their development further. It is a supportive, hands-on session and a great first step, especially with our Game On, Girls coach development now underway. Register via Humanitix.
💜 25 August, 4–5pm — Years 1–4 Come and Try Netball
Our Years 1 to 4 Come and Try session runs on 25 August from 4 to 5pm, open to new and current players alike. It is a fun, low-pressure hour of games and basic skills, perfect for little ones curious about netball and for current players who want to bring a friend along. New faces are always welcome. 💙 20 September — 🧨 Winter Season Windup 🧨 (3–5pm)
Save the afternoon! Our Winter Season Windup is on Saturday 20 September from 3 to 5pm, a chance for the whole Dynamites family to come together, celebrate the season and thank our players, coaches and volunteers. It is always a highlight of the year and a lovely way to close out Winter. Full details to come, so keep this one free.
💙 27 October — High School Pregrading
Our high school pregrading is on 27 October at Matthews, for new and returning players. Year 7/8 players are asked to arrive for a 4pm start, and Years 9 to 12 for a 6pm start. This is an important session for placing players into the right teams, so please make every effort to attend. More detail will follow closer to the date.
